All I wanted to do is enjoy some Detroit Lions football. I never intended to write about my experiences at Ford Field.
But as a disabled man, my recent game-day experiences have left me frustrated, and with few answers. I don't believe Ford Field is violating the American With Disabilities Act, but the venue has made it challenging, and even unsafe, for disabled people like me to attend games. It makes me wonder how other disabled fans whose situations are worse than mine are treated.
